Summer 2011 Wedding Highlights

We have been having an awesome summer and have been lucky to have been a part of so many great weddings. Here, we are going to highlight one of them at a unique venue.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Laurita Winery in New Egypt, NJ. Kelly Ann and Jason were spectacular to work with-very easy going and just a ton of fun! We were able to take care of all three aspects of their wedding: ceremony, cocktails, and reception. Jason and Kelly Ann were able to carefully select all of their ceremony music. Some of their great ideas included using the song Better Days by The Goo Goo Dolls as the brides maids walked down the aisle. Kelly Ann walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Sweet and Low by Augustana. The readers and officiant Susanne of Journeys of the Heart were able to take advantage of our wireless microphone to ensure all could hear and enjoy the ceremony. Cocktail hour was fun and unique. Jason asked us to create a custom mash-up of the song Caravan performed by Van Morrison and the Counting Crows which we were happy to oblige. Their reception began with a grand introduction using the extraordinary song Lean on Me by Bill Withers. The first dance was extra special as Jason and Kelly Ann danced to Dance with You by Live (live at Paradisco). The reception was fantastic and the majority of the music played was carefully crafted by the bride and groom. I have to say that one of the highlights of the night was when the guests enjoyed the old school segment dance mix that included the Double Dutch Bus by Frankie Smith.
